About This Project
AA1 Sandblasting was contracted to remove layers of paint from a natural stone facade at a commercial property in Costa Mesa, California. The stone had been painted over, obscuring its natural texture and color — the client wanted the original stone character fully restored.
Our team selected abrasive media blasting as the method of choice, carefully calibrated to strip the paint without damaging the underlying stone surface. Both interior and exterior stone walls were treated across multiple sessions, with night-time scheduling to minimize disruption to the surrounding businesses.
The results speak for themselves — the natural stone was fully revealed, with its original texture, depth, and color brought back to life. Full containment and cleanup were included, leaving the site spotless upon completion.
